Double Feed Detect
Detect mis-feeds and double feeds due to misalignment or no blank present of cardboard blanks in
case packers and cartoners.
-
Feeder Control
Inspect for mis-fed, overloaded or misaligned material to reduce jams, wasted time and damaged
materials.
-
Promotional Label Detection
Non-invasive solutions to detect the presence or absence of promotional labels on already
productive packaging lines.
Production Improvement

Coveright Surfaces, Inc. , an impregnated paper manufacturer
in the southeast region, was motivated to find solutions for reducing waste and increasing
profit. One "wasted" roll of material is worth thousands of dollars and cannot be salvaged.
The corporate engineer in charge selected Omron after searching the Internet for possible
solution providers. The proposed solution used two ZX smart measurement sensors in
conjunction with a digital panel meter for web width & two analog output ultrasonic
sensors for paper thickness measurements. |
